TATA Sky Start Migration from MPEG-2 to MPEG-4 Technology - DTH News

TATA Sky Indian DTH Services announce to move it's channel mpeg-2 to mpeg-4 technology. Tata sky select broadcom to provide Mpeg-4 STBs.

They already start to replace mpeg-2 Set-top box to MPEG-4. if you are tata sky subscriber you can contact to customer care for migrate your Receiver. you will also receive 1 month warantee free even you are using old box.

According to Mr. Rajneesh who are using TATA Sky Set-top Box and they also receive new STB free with USB Port. They told
" it is very good news that we can watch channels in mpeg-4 technology. I also have Dish TV connection but Dish charge us for Mono-block LNB which is unfair as now I am feeling. Because instrument should provide free of cost by company as Tata sky doing. "
