New Delhi: Highly placed media industry sources have confirmed that Pearls Broadcasting Corporation Ltd (PBCL) is launching a Punjabi news channel.

According to media industry sources, the headquarters of proposed Punjabi channel will be at the same location in Noida from where PBCL's Hindi news channel P7 News is being run.
Sharad Dutt has been given the responsibility to recruit the staff for new channel.
"P7 Gujarati" Channel is also under testing from Insat4A Satellite
