ETV Plans to launch Four additional free-to-air channels by digital terrestrial television transition.
South African FTA Broadcaster is planning to launch 4 new channel from October 2013 via digital terrestrial television transition (DTT).
This channel would be available for who using DTT Digital set-top box, a process which has been met with delays due to court procedures and governmental issues.
These channels include Kids channel, Movie channel, Pan African channel and one channel dedicated to nation content. The four new channels will be broadcast in addition to the regular e.tv channel and all four will also be branded under the “e” logo.
