This is good move by Doordarshan Prasar Bharati because they are going to launch a new DD Channel " DD Andhra Pradesh" for Andhra Pradesh. At present, Doordarshan Saptagiri is catering both states AP and Telangana.
So from October both channels would be air programmes with new titles. This channel would be totally free-to-air from C-band and ku-band satellite reception.
This channel also would be part of DD Freedish after launch of this channel on 27th September.
According to "Times of India" news " Vijayawada Kendra would produce six-hour programme for the news channel and remaining feed would be taken from Hyderabad Kendra ".
